The Vikings, who are visiting the Packers in Week 12, also announced they have signed cornerback Dwight McGlothern, Jr., to their practice squad. McGlothern was waived earlier this week as the Vikings opened a roster spot for Kelly’s return. After clearing waivers, McGlothern was eligible to sign. The team elevated McGlothern for Sunday’s game.
To make room for McGlothern on the practice squad, the team released running back Cam Akers, who had been elevated for three games this season.
