Seahawks reveal status for Kenneth Walker in Week 12 vs. Titans

The Seattle Seahawks are heading into a Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans looking for a bounce-back from their brutal Week 11 loss to the NFC West division-leading Los Angeles Rams.

But, late in the week, Seahawks star running back Kenneth Walker III popped up on the injury report with a glute issue, and there was some concern about whether he’d play on Sunday.

Mike Macdonald was confident Walker could play, and that confidence was answered on the Seahawks’ active/inactive list ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the Titans. As per Seahawks PR on Twitter/X, Walker is good to go for Sunday.

Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker III active for Sunday Week 12 vs. Titans

Walker wasn’t listed among the Seahawks’ inactive in Week 12. While Zach Charbonnet might get more work to ease up Walker’s usage, Walker being active is a great sign that he will have a role for Seattle in Week 12.

The Titans have a weaker defense in the NFL, and Walker and the Seahawks’ struggling running game should be able to be productive in this positive matchup.

Walker is coming off a strong performance against one of the best run defenses in the NFL. He ran for 67 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries while adding 44 yards receiving on three receptions.

So far in 2025, which might wind up being Walker’s last season in Seattle, he has 136 carries for 606 yards and four touchdowns on the ground to go with 127 receiving yards on 14 receptions.

He’s averaging 4.46 yards per carry, significantly more than Charbonnet, who has 350 rushing yards on 105 carries, averaging 3.33 yards per carry.

Having Walker for Week 12 against the Titans is some great news for the Seahawks, as their star running back is good to go in a must-win matchup to stay alive in the NFC West division race.
