Les Ferdinand keeps spotting the same problem every time he watches Eberechi Eze for Arsenal

Les Ferdinand has urged Eberechi Eze to show more than what he currently is for Arsenal, and there is no better time for that to happen than in the North London derby.
The 27-year-old has made a rather slow start to life in North London, with just two goals and three assists in his first 17 matches for the club.
Eze has promised he will improve at Arsenal over time, but the Gunners need him to step up sooner rather than later as they push for the title.
In the build-up to Sunday’s clash, Eze describes the North London Derby as ‘powerful’, and this is the perfect stage to finally announce himself at the Emirates Stadium.

Les Ferdinand thinks Eberechi Eze is playing with ‘handbrake on’ at Arsenal
Les Ferdinand has urged Eberechi Eze to show more at Arsenal, and the former Spurs striker believes that he is playing with the ‘handbrake on’ right now.
There aren’t many people in football who know Eze better than Ferdinand, as the former Premier League striker is the man who brought him to QPR.
Having been released by several clubs, including Arsenal, Eze finally got his chance at QPR, and it was Ferdinand who was one of the coaches to give him that confidence.
Speaking about the winger, Ferdinand told Sky Sports: “I took him to QPR and straight away we saw a talent, and someone we felt could go on, and he’s done that in terms of going from Crystal Palace to Arsenal. I felt he could have gone from QPR to one of the big clubs.
“But he’s come to Arsenal and he’s playing with the handbrake on, that’s what I’d call it. I think there’s so much more to come from him.
“The reason Arsenal brought him is because he’s got a calmness about him in the way he plays and his attitude. But I just feel he has so much more to his game.
“There’s so much more to come from him, but it’s almost like he’s come to Arsenal and he’s working his way in. Rather than coming and saying I’m the man, watch what I can do.
“Every time I watch him, I’m thinking, ‘Come on, Ez, you’ve got more than this,’ and it’s players like him against teams playing with a low block – he’s got what it takes to unlock those types of teams. We’ve just not seen it enough.”
Mikel Arteta needs to move Eberechi Eze to the left wing
Mikel Arteta must push Eze to the left wing as he is currently being played in a central midfield role for the Gunners.
Eze impressed at left wing for England over the break and showed Arteta exactly what he is missing by using him centrally.
What position suits Eberechi Eze best at Arsenal?
Martin Odegaard being injured has sort of forced him to be played as the creator in the middle, but it’s not really working for him at the moment.
Hopefully, once Odegaard makes his return, he will be moved to his preferred role and we will start to see the best of the winger.
