BBC viewers all issue same complaint over Danny Mac minutes into Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing Blackpool Results Show featured a Strictly first as four legendary finalists returned for one spectacular group performance.
Ashley Roberts, Danny Mac, Jay McGuiness and Layton Williams joined forces with Strictly’s Professional Dancers for a showstopping routine in Sunday’s results show that saw them each revisit one of their most famous Strictly moments; however, some BBC viewers took to social media to share a common complaint about former contestant Danny Mac.
Hollyoaks star Danny, 37, who reached the show’s final in 2016, revealed his torso during his sizzling samba routine, which prompted viewers at home to share their thoughts on his performance.
One wrote: “Oh Danny Mac!” While another shared: “Danny was robbed of winning!” A third commented: “Danny Mac dancing the samba is a feast for the eyes!” a fourth remarked: “Danny was the most robbed winner ever, he was incredible!”
Danny recently revealed his favourite moment during his time on the show was getting his first 40 score. On his return, he told BBC: “It’s a big mixture of emotions. The most prevalent one is probably feeling quite physically sick.
“I’ve been back to Elstree Studios to watch the show, and it’s just pure excitement, gratitude and joy because they are all the things you get from just being in the place.”
Up to 13.1 million viewers saw Ore Oduba and his dance partner Joanne Clifton lift the glitterball trophy and win the final of Strictly Come Dancing almost 10 years ago, as the BBC sports presenter beat finalists Danny and Louise Redknapp to win the 2016 series. Fifteen contestants had started the competition, with Ore calling his victory “the most incredible experience of my life”.
However, fans are convinced he was robbed of picking up the trophy and also shared their sadness that his former dance partner, Oti Mabuse, was missing in action alongside him.
It comes as the current run of the BBC’s glittering dance contest has already witnessed numerous celebrity departures, with Dani Dyer and Stefan Dennis forced to withdraw, followed by La Voix.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite had been absent from the Blackpool episode after sustaining a “bone bruise” to her foot. However, as Saturday’s show commenced, presenter Tess Daly revealed that La Voix had withdrawn from the BBC programme entirely. It was subsequently revealed that, with La Voix forced to pull out, no contestant would face the axe this week.
