I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Angry Ginge is reportedly set to be “inundated” with offers when his time on the popular ITV show comes to an end later this year. While his time on I’m A Celeb has seen him become a household name in recent weeks, Angry Ginge initially gained a following partly due to his overtly angry persona during his live streams, which he started in 2020.

His comedic live reactions to video games helped him gain huge popularity on social media, with a number of streams being clipped and posted on TikTok.

He has seen his social media following sky-rocket, with him currently having over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and 900,000 subscribers on YouTube. This year he played in Soccer Aid while also featuring in Celebrity Gogglebox alongside Luke Littler.

However, his time in the Jungle has reportedly sparked even more interest in the Salford-born content creator. A source close to Angry Ginge has said that the 24-year-old’s team have been “inundated” with offers, which include a book deal, TV appearances and advertising campaigns.

The source said: “Since the moment Ginge stepped foot in the jungle, the commercial interest has gone through the roof. He’s been absolutely inundated with offers, far more than anyone predicted.

“Brands have very quickly clocked that he’s not just a viral creator; he’s genuinely relatable, he speaks the language of real people, and he connects with an audience that many big companies have struggled to reach.”

One of the things that is reportedly attracting additional interest in Angry Ginge is his “authenticity” having come from humble beginnings growing up in a council flat with his mum and sister.

The source added: “It’s why he’s already being approached for several major long-term global ambassadorships with household-name retailers who want him fronting their campaigns the second he’s out. They see him as someone who can shift perception, shift product, and bring in audiences that traditional advertising doesn’t touch.”

Meanwhile it has also been rumoured that a number of major British broadcasters are starting to make their interests in the star known. The source added: “There’s a real sense in TV circles that Ginge is a breakout mainstream star in the making.

“People have seen how funny, warm and unfiltered he is, and that’s exactly what commissioners are looking for. Several networks have already made it clear they want to get in the room with him the moment he’s home, whether that’s for entertainment formats, factual shows or even fronting campaigns.”

The source also claims that a number of book publishers are beginning to circle. The source revealed: “A string of major houses have been circling, all desperate to secure his first book deal. They can see the appetite for his story, where he’s come from, how he built this community, what drives him and they know his fanbase would show up in force.

“It’s rare for someone to hit the sweet spot of mainstream affection and digital influence at the same time, but that’s exactly what’s happening with Ginge. The demand for him right now is enormous.”

While many have tipped Angry Ginge to be crowed King of the Jungle, a close friend of the star has said that he will be able to call on the support of his celebrity pals. They said: “Ginge has no idea how much love he’s getting on the outside. Big names have been showing their support since he went into camp. It shows how far he’s come, people from the worlds of sport, TV and entertainment are all rooting for him.”

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is set to return to our screens this evening at 9 p.m on ITV.
