I’m a Celeb’s Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews relationship timeline: From The Jump to ‘split’ rumours

I’m a Celebrity is in full swing and we’re watching some our faves – from Aitch to Alex Scott – battling it out in the jungle.

Among the late additions was none other than Vogue Williams, the Irish podcaster and TV personality, who just so happens to be in a relationship with Spencer Matthews. Reality TV fans will know Spencer from Made In Chelsea, where he was one of the original cast.

Vogue and Spencer are among the all star couples who are in the I’m A Celeb orbit, such as Alex Scott and Jess Gylnne.

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews relationship timeline

2017: Vogue and Spencer met on the TV show The Jump: Vogue ended up withdrawing due to injury but Spencer wasn’t ready to watch the connection fade.

Speaking to the Irish magazine Evoke, Vogue said: “He kept ringing me after we’d done The Jump together and I was like, ‘This guy is so strange’ – he hadn’t grown on me yet! He’d call me and say he was out and about in Chelsea and I’d be like, ‘I live in East London, there’s no way I’m travelling 45 minutes to hang out with you’. We were just really good pals for ages.”

2018: 2018 was a pretty major year for these two love birds. Not only did they get engaged, they then got married!

Spencer asked Vogue to marry him in February at The Lion King West End musical and then the duo got married in June in the Matthews’ family estate in Scotland.

2019: In 2019, Spencer opened up about going sober and explained how his motivation was Vogue and their future children.

“When we first started dating, I was a bad alcoholic. I would drink really early in the day, most days, and often to excess… When I met Vogue and we started our relationship, and when she got pregnant, it was a bit of a wake-up call for me.

“I didn’t want to be that kind of father, I wanted to be present for my kids. So, I went sober. I completely knocked it on the head one day and I did just under four years of total abstinence.”

2020 – 2022: In 2020, the couple welcomed a child called Gigi. In 2022, they welcomed a boy called Otto.

In August 2020, they started a podcast together called Spencer and Vogue.

2025: In January 2025, Spencer announced he was leaving Spencer and Vogue.

Spencer’s departure from the podcast led to rumours that he and Vogue had split, which Vogue rebutted on IG, saying: “It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up! I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours,” she added, “but this just keeps coming up. It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true, and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground. The whole thing feels very strange and mean.”
