The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a brutal Sunday night.
They’re getting smoked by the Los Angeles Rams, but that’s not all. Baker Mayfield is also injured.
To start the second half, Mayfield wasn’t the Bucs’ QB. Teddy Bridgewater was.

Why is Teddy Bridgewater playing QB for Buccaneers, not Baker Mayfield?
Bridgewater is in the game for Mayfield because Baker is injured.
Mayfield hurt his left shoulder midway through the first half while being tackled on a run. Then he appeared to make it worse when he chucked a Hail Mary on the final play before the intermission.
He put his all into that throw, and it seemed to make things worse.
The Buccaneers announced that Mayfield would be doubtful to return with a left shoulder injury.
That left Bridgewater to play.
Teddy is an experienced veteran and can run an offense.
On this night, it probably wouldn’t matter. The Bucs trailed 31-7 at the half, and the Rams’ defense was firing on all cylinders.
The Buccaneers will simply hope Baker can heal up going forward, or it’ll be a lot more Bridgewater.
