Ronaldo stuns football world at age 40

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning overhead kick to cap off a dominant victory for Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo and co defeated Al-Khaleej 4-1 to extend their undefeated streak to nine wins in as many Saudi Pro League matches.

The home side opened the scoring with Joao Felix six minutes before halftime and doubled their lead with Wesley just three minutes later, The Sun reports.

The visitors hit back just two minutes into the second half with Murad Al-Hawsawi but Al-Nassr sealed the win on 77 minutes through Liverpool legend Sadio Mane.

The Manchester United legend left it very late until he added his name to the scoreboard, and he did it in style by rolling back the years in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

The 40-year-old showed once more that age is just a number as he recreated the screamer he scored in 2018 when he played for Real Madrid against Juventus in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The star forward met a pinpoint cross by Nawaf Boushal from the right and jumped higher than anyone else to score an outrageous overhead kick.

The Al-Awwal Park came unglued and so did fans watching from home who stormed social media.

One fan tweeted: “WTF he’s 40 years old!”

Another commented: “‘F*** it, I’m Cristiano Ronaldo’.”

A third wrote: “Doing this at 40, what tf.”

This fan said: “41 in 3 months btw …”

One added: “Only Ronaldo does a bicycle kick at 40 years.”

And a comment read: “Guess I’m the one who’s 40, not him.”

Al-Nassr are top of the table with four points separating them from second-placed Al-Hilal, who are also undefeated with seven wins in nine matches.
