Three Christmas food products have been urgently recalled by health officials due to a “possible health risk”.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said three flapjack products have been recalled due to an undeclared ingredient.
Flapjackery is recalling its Mince Pie Crumble Flapjack products because they contain almonds which are not mentioned on the label, posing a health risk for anyone with an allergy to treenuts.
The company said the products affected by the recall include any Mince Pie Crumble products purchased since November 1, 2025. These include:
- Flapjackery Mince Pie Crumble Flapjack – Pack size 170g
- Flapjackery Christmas Towers box – Pack size 6x85g
- Flapjackery Rudolph box – Pack size 6x170g
All these products have a best before date of March 2026.

The FSA issued advice to consumers on its website. It said: “If you have bought the any of the above products and have an allergy to almonds (nuts) do not eat them.
“Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
“For further details, please contact Flapjackery at enquiries@flapjackery.co.uk or customer services on 01822 258008.”
The bakery has 16 stores across the South West of England, including in Tavistock, Plymouth, Minehead, Wells, St Ives, Bath, Bristol, Chichester, Dartmouth, and Falmouth. Their products can also be shipped across the UK.
Flapjackery says the products may be returned to any store for a full refund.
The FSA added: “Sometimes there will be a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold. Then it might be ‘withdrawn’ (taken off the shelves) or ‘recalled’ (when customers are asked to return the product).
“Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or recalled if there is a risk to consumers because the allergy labelling is missing or incorrect or if there is any other food allergy risk. When there is a food allergy risk, the FSA will issue an allergy alert.”
