Tara Reid recently described a harrowing experience that occurred early Sunday morning at a hotel outside of Chicago, claiming she was drugged while at a bar. According to Reid, she checked into the hotel late Saturday evening, before venturing downstairs for a drink and a cigarette.
After ordering her drink, she went outside to smoke, where she encountered a group of YouTubers. One of them joined her, but when she returned to the bar, she discovered her drink covered with a napkin—something she asserts she did not do herself. Removing the napkin, she took a sip, and the next fragment of her memory is waking up at a nearby hospital.
Videos obtained from the incident show Reid being transported on a stretcher by paramedics, highlighting the severity of her condition. Witnesses noted that she appeared distressed, reportedly yelling, “You don’t know who I am. I am famous. I’m an actress,” prior to paramedics’ arrival.
Reid, who has publicly battled substance abuse issues in the past, asserts that she had only consumed one drink that night. Despite the alarming circumstances, she had not filed a police report at the time of the report. The incident has raised concerns about safety in social venues, underlining the potential dangers of unattended drinks.
