How to watch Warriors vs. Jazz

The Golden State Warriors continue their five-game homestand with Monday night’s matchup against the Utah Jazz. The game will be played at 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Previously with the Warriors:

The Warriors’ perfect home record this season came to an end on Friday night after losing to the Portland Trail Blazers, 127–123. Despite a 38-point effort from Stephen Curry, Golden State couldn’t find a way to slow down Portland’s offense. The Blazers had four players score 20 points or more, including rookie guard Caleb Love, who dropped a career-high 26 points on 6-of-14 shooting from deep off the bench. After the game, Jimmy Butler was blunt in calling out the Warriors’ defensive effort.

What to watch for tonight:

The Warriors look to shake off Friday’s loss with tonight’s matchup against the Jazz. However, they’re feeling the toll of a tough early-season schedule that has already featured a league-high five back-to-backs. Jonathan Kuminga is set to miss his sixth straight game with a knee injury, Al Horford will be out at least a week with sciatica, and Draymond Green is listed as questionable with a mid-foot sprain.

While these injuries only highlight Golden State’s frontcourt problems, one possible solution could be center second-year center Quinten Post. The Warriors’ lack of size was glaring against the Blazers, and Kerr hinted at possibly utilizing Post’s size in the starting lineup — something that could make a big impact against a Jazz frontline featuring two seven-footers in Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkić.
