A man died after a fire broke out at a house on Queens Road in Southall last Thursday (20 November 2025), the London Fire Brigade has said.
Part of the first floor of the end-of-terrace property was damaged in the blaze. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a man from a first-floor bedroom via an internal staircase. He was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The brigade was called at 10:20pm, and firefighters began leaving the scene at 11:41pm. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Southall, Hayes and Ealing stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
