The 2025–26 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup group stage kicked off this weekend with drama, late goals and convincing statements across all four groups.
Former champions USM Alger and Wydad Casablanca impressed, Olympique de Safi delivered a crucial away win in Bamako, and Stellenbosch left it late in Polokwane to secure victory.

Olympique de Safi and USM Alger both made winning starts to take early control of Group A.
