“We hope to no longer pay large sums for transfers”, Luis Campos reveals PSG’s long-term objectives

In a recent interview, sporting director Luis Campos revealed the long-term goals of French and European champions Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the sports advisor, the Ligue 1 club hopes to stop spending large sums of money in the transfer market to buy players.

“The long-term goal? We hope to stop paying large sums of money in the transfer market,” Luis Campos initially told Canal Supporters.

“And to have a team with more players from our academy and the Paris region,” concluded the PSG sporting director.

Otherwise, PSG has stopped spending big in recent years, having only made two transfers this summer.

Ilya Zabarny cost 63 million euros to buy from Bournemouth, while Lucas Chevalier from Lille cost 40 million euros. /Telegraph/
