Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A storm system currently traversing the Southwest will drift eastward.  Southwestern precipitation will end on Thursday, while mid- to late-week rainfall from the central and southern Plains into the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys should total 1 to 3 inches.  A second storm will quickly trail the first system, with a new round of precipitation overspreading the Pacific Coast States and the Southwest during the second half of the week.  The latter storm has the potential to produce heavy rain in the south-central U.S. late in the weekend.  In contrast, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days in the southern Atlantic region and from the northern Rockies into the upper Great Lakes region.
