The best air fryers money can buy just went on sale ahead of Black Friday. Both models of the top-tested Ninja Crispi are now down to their best prices ever at several retailers. Amazon, Walmart and Ninja are taking up to $50 off the new kitchen countertop appliances. The standard Ninja Crispi, a favorite among CNN Underscored editors, starts at $129, while the new Crispi Pro receives its very first price cut, bringing its price down to $230.

The Crispi Pro just launched in October, and I had the chance to break down what’s new with the larger version of our best-tested air fryer. In addition to its larger 6-quart glassware cooking basket, the Pro delivers 1,800 watts of countertop cooking power, up from the standard model’s 1,500. In testing, the Ninja Crispi was not only the best air fryer we’ve ever used but one of the most versatile kitchen appliances we’ve tested. Its actual cooking features make it a reliable tool for preparing meals, side dishes and even appetizers like wings for football watch parties, and its proprietary TempWare containers double as both its air frying baskets and storage containers for leftovers.
Each model of the Ninja Crispi features the same design, allowing you to detach the heating element from the bottom glassware. It makes storing the appliance when not in use easier than your average air fryer and even means you can bring the Crispi with you to Thanksgiving, that upcoming Super Bowl party and other gatherings. If you’re always fighting friends and family to borrow their oven or microwave to reheat a dish, this will be your secret weapon.
While we have yet to test the Ninja Crispi Pro, it shares much of the standard Crispi’s features, including the same design and cooking prowess. It does improve the original’s 1,500-watt cooking system with a more powerful 1,800-watt air fryer, but the novel design of the swappable TempWare containers remains. I can’t recommend the smaller of the two appliances enough, but those with larger families may want to spring for the Pro edition now that it’s on sale for the first time.
