Kathy Griffin Reacts to Andy Cohen Saying They’re Emailing, Shares True Feelings About Her Former Bravo Boss

Kathy Griffin is sharing her side of the story about her falling out with Andy Cohen and whether they actually made up.

For those who don’t know, Kathy was one of the first stars of Bravo with her former reality series My Life on the D-List and she recorded numerous standup specials for the network. After she was canceled for her bloody Trump mask photo, Andy took over her role as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve special.

At BravoCon earlier this month, a fan asked Andy about making up with Kathy. He replied, “Well, never say never about anyone, but Kathy and I emailed the other day.”

Well, Kathy is now sharing the story behind that email and her true thoughts on Andy.

During her standup show at The Grove of Anaheim on Saturday (November 22) in California, Kathy addressed what happened.

“Andy Cohen was my boss at Bravo and he was, in my opinion, a difficult boss. I really tried to do a good job at Bravo and I had a great time there. I kind of helped build the channel,” Kathy told the audience.

She added, “So, out of the blue last week, I got an email from Andy Cohen for the first time in eight years. You came to a good show! I promise to get to more important topics, but this one is plain juicy.”

“And so he wrote me this long email at 10 at night and half of it was sort of nice. I think he vetted it with lawyers actually. It read like, because he knows I’m going to eventually read it on stage. He knows. He’s gotta know that. He didn’t really apologize, but he kind of did a ‘sorry, not sorry.’ The tenor was sort of civil,” Kathy said.

Kathy decided to play nice because she doesn’t want to be in any feuds right now and she is a Bravo fan.

She added, “I thought, ‘I don’t really need to be in anymore beefs.’ I’ve been in so many f–king beefs with so many people and he is a powerful guy and I wish I were back at Bravo. It was a fun place to work and it was a great place to do specials and all that stuff. I wrote him back very quickly and I was kind of emotional.”

But then, Kathy saw that Andy mentioned the email at BravoCon.

“I’m like, hold on girl,” Kathy said in reaction to Andy‘s comment at BravoCon. “You emailed me for the first time in eight years after f–king doing me dirty and taking my job on New Year’s Eve and firing me from Bravo, but okay. Like, I don’t actually want to have a beef, but that did hurt. And that whole experience did hurt. But I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Kathy said that she was running late to her show that night and someone approached her outside the venue to ask if she made up with Andy.

Her final comment on the subject: “Let’s go with ‘maybe.’”

Kathy is opening up about her recent facelift and revealed how much she paid.
