If anyone wants to remake The Prince and the Pauper as the The Pop Star and the Pig, please get to work now. Witty blonde beauty Sabrina Carpenter met her match on November 23 when she arrested Miss Piggy at the final stop of her Short n’ Sweet tour at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. “You guys are so beautiful it should be a crime,” Carpenter said looking out at the crowd, then finding Miss Piggy’s face. “Like you, gorgeous. I’d know that face anywhere! Excuse me, what is your name?”
“Miss Piggy,” the muppet replied before noting that “there are so, so many people here tonight!” Don’t sound too surprised, Piggy. Carpenter then asked Miss Piggy if she was enjoying the show. “Uhhh … Yes! I’m loving it!” Miss Piggy said. “I mean, I do have a few notes. I’ll share them with you after the show.” Accompanying Miss Piggy was Bobo the Bear, dressed as a security guard, who warned fans taking selfies, “Not too close,” then asked Carpenter, “Did you say she’s getting arrested?”
“Yeah, but it’s kind of fake,” Carpenter responded. Luckily, Bobo brought his own handcuffs, since the pink, furry cuffs Carpenter offered probably wouldn’t fit on Miss Piggy’s cloven hooves. (“Tell it to the judge, sister,” Bobo replied.) Then, Carpenter’s track “Juno” started and she got to work singing about new positions. While we know that Carpenter will make an appearance in the upcoming Muppet Show reboot, that shouldn’t be the last of this duo. Get these two buxom blondes on a road trip.
