It came just hours after Angry Ginge, 24, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, broke down in tears in camp during an emotional meltdown.
Talking of the teary moment aired on Monday’s I’m A Celeb Jakey – who is part of the gang’s streaming group which “documents everything we do” – said: “It’s not nice to see your mate like that, but it’s nice for people to see that side of him.
“He’s family oriented and you saw a softer side.
“I think it’s the first time he’s been away from his family too.”

The pair are part of Angry Ginge’s Bov Boys streaming collective, which is a group of five social media creators who produce content for TikTok and YouTube.
They told GMB anchor Susanna Reid, 54 – who asked about what they did – how they filmed videos of everyday occurrences, which had included sending Angry Ginge on a date and telling him what to say via an earpiece.
Yet Susanna’s co-host Ed Balls, 58, questioned just what would happen to the group if their pal was crowned Jungle King.
He said: “If he wins is he still going to be a Bov Boy?

“Or do you think he might decide to leave it behind and go on to bigger things?”
Jakey replied: “Oh I really hope not.
Previously, two other Bov Boys stars Heinz and Chazza appeared on ITV daytime show Lorraine to reveal the real reason behind Angry Ginge’s nickname.
GINGE’S BATTLE
During Monday’s episode, the star wasn’t feeling great and decided to look at a photo of his family while lying on the bed in the treehouse that he and Aitch are staying in.
He then revealed why he was feeling emotional, as he opened up in the bush telegraph.
The star said: “It’s a bit of a sh*t day really, I just feel as though I’m missing home, missing speaking to my family, food and drink as well is a massive part but they say you have up days and down days.”

Angry Ginge appeared to get choked up, as he put his head in his hands and said: “I’m holding it in. I suppose it’s just one of my down days.”
The star broke down in tears for a second time later on in the episode, as he shared his sadness over not being able to text his mum.
Angry Ginge’s sad moment comes after tensions bubbled in camp during Monday evening’s episode.
The group then decided to have a community meeting, as has been the norm amongst this year’s stars.
GAME PLAN
Previously, one former show star has exclusively told The Sun battling bugs is all part of Angry Ginge’s game plan to win air time.
Former campmate Nicola McLean, 44, spoke exclusively to The Sun about the scheming from Ginge, which has since been scuppered by I’m A Celeb bosses.
Nicola – who entered the jungle back in 2008 and stuck out camp life for 18 days – has revealed the tasks are in his game plan all along.
She referred to the recent show rule change – which mean campmates can only do a maximum of two trials in a row – and said: “I think that they’ve stopped allowing the same person to be voted, haven’t they?
“I shouldn’t take credit.
“My 15-year-old told me he believes it’s because Ginge was saying on his livestream ‘vote for me for everything’.
“So we think Ginge would have just been voted for absolutely everything, which would be great for him because that is your main airtime.”
Speaking on behalf of WhichBingo, she continued: “Like the main airtime is the trial, isn’t it? And then everything else is kind of a filler.

“So that’s changed and and, in some ways, I think it’s changed for the better because you get to see different people.
“But in another way, I know it’s mean, but it’s quite funny when the same person keeps on going up and obviously we’ve got to remember a well-fed camp is a happy camp, we don’t want a happy camp.”
