In a sneak peek at the Drown the Hatch challenge, the hosts breathlessly watch as Jack, 40, takes the plunge in a water tank filled with snakes and yabbies in his pursuit of stars.

Calm Jack can be seen unfastening stars in the depths as Ant asks: “Surely he’ll come back up for breath on this one?
“He’s holding on you know.”
Dec then says: “Oh my God, he’s going to do it in one breath.”
The terrifying task sees Jack head down eight rusty manholes filled with what bosses vow are “fearsome things”.

The rock legend died in the summer just weeks after a farewell gig at Villa Park, Birmingham, celebrating his career.
There has been concern among viewers for Jack’s welfare after watching him in the throes of grief.
