‘Percy Jackson And The Olympians’ Season 2 Trailer Outperforms Season 1 By 60% With 135.9M Views In 10 Days

EXCLUSIVE: The anticipation for new episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is growing as the Season 2 premiere approaches.
The latest trailer for the upcoming second season, which debuted on November 6, amassed 135.9M views and counting across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook in its first 10 days, according to Disney. The massive response is a 60% increase over the Season 1 trailer performance (84.3M video views in 10 days).
There appears to be a strong global appeal as well, considering that nearly half (46.8%) of the trailer’s 10-day audience was driven by International views, the company says.
Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will follow the adventure laid out in the second novel in Rick Riordan’s best selling Greek mythology series, The Sea of Monsters. The trailer teases yet another monstrous undertaking for Percy (Walker Scobell) as the fates of Camp Half-Blood and his best friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) fall into his hands.
The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer. Tamara Smart will play Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. Other recurring guest stars include Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus the leader of Camp Half-Blood, Timothy Simons as Tantalus and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, messenger of the gods.
Courtney B. Vance has been recast as Zeus, taking up the mantle from the late Lance Reddick. Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal and Margeret Cho will portray The Gray Sisters.
The second season premieres December 10 with two episodes on Disney+ and Hulu, followed by new episodes every Wednesday. Also on Dec. 10, Disney will be launching new episodes of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians official podcast to offer behind-the-scenes access to the series.
Additionally, the series has already been renewed for Season 3, which is currently in production in Vancouver.
