Daniel Radcliffe Shares the Rare ‘Harry Potter’ Quip That Actually Made Him Laugh

Daniel Radcliffe has heard tons of Harry Potter jokes over the years, so it takes a lot to impress him and someone on the Late Night with Seth Meyers set managed to do just that!
The 36-year-old actor was on the Monday night (November 24) episode when he shared the one-liner that got a laugh out of him.
“It’s very rare that I experience a Harry Potter joke in the wild that makes me truly laugh,” Daniel said. “Not because they’re bad, just because I’ve heard all of them! It has to be really good to make me laugh.”

The Merrily We Roll Along star revealed that on one of his previous visits to the late-night talk show, the subject of his child, who he shares with partner Erin Darke, came up.
Daniel prefers to keep his kid’s name private, so he said he doesn’t say his son’s name on TV.
Seth then jumped in, recounting the moment, “I was like, ‘Tell me how old Daniel’s child is,’” he recalled. “And they were like, ‘Two years old but [Daniel] never says his name publicly. And then my producer Kevin Miller said, ‘Is it Voldemort?’”
“It’s really good. It’s a really good joke,” the Harry Potter alum responded.
Speaking of Harry Potter, Daniel recently shared what he told newcomer Dominic McLaughlin, who will play the role in the upcoming HBO show.
