Magnitude 3.9 quake strikes Sonoma County

A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck near the Geysers geothermal field in northeastern Sonoma County on Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake struck at about 7:08 a.m. with a depth of about 1.2 miles, USGS said.

The quake epicenter was about 3.3 miles southwest of Cobb in Lake County, 13 miles northeast of Healdsburg in Sonoma County and 17 miles northwest of Calistoga in Napa County.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
