No, you’re not having deja vu, Dylan Towolawi really is back once again in the Love Island Australia villa after he was booted off last year alongside Sophie.
So, let’s remind ourselves of exactly what happened last time he was in the villa and some of the dramatic post show drama he was involved in.

On the show Dylan and Sophie were both voted off together, but broke up almost immediately afterwards.
Dylan told 9Entertainment: “We left the Villa with good intentions and then I went back to Sydney, Sophie went back to the Gold Coast and I realised it was probably never going to work.”
However, following his departure from the Love Island Australia Dylan Towolawi revealed that he was rekindling his villa romance with Mimi.

Mimi revealed that the pair ended up reconnecting on a night out after the show, explaining: “We were just talking – and then I just kissed him.
“We learned that he can’t be emotional without physical, and I can’t be physical without emotional, so that’s kind of where that all worked out.”
Dylan explained that he “saw a completely different side to Mimi that nobody else knows”, saying that the two had been almost inseparable since getting back together.
But as you’ve probably guessed by the fact Dylan Towolawi is once again back in the Love Island Australia villa, their relationship didn’t exactly go to plan.

The two then started massively beefing on TikTok, with Mimi insinuating that Dylan cheated on her, whilst Dylan claimed the pair weren’t even exclusive. It was all very petty.
Dylan then admitted: “If I could take back what I did back home, I’d take it back in the morning. If I could take back meeting that girl in the show, I will take it back right now, trying to ruin my life over this crazy, crazy, crazy work.” Yikes.
It seems the pair officially called it quits at the start of the year, which would line up with when Love Island Australia was filmed, so hopefully things go a bit smoother in his next relationship.
