Strictly’s Dianne Buswell says ‘I have a feeling’ in baby admission as ‘full circle moment’ sparks tears

Dianne Buswell has told fans she ‘has a feeling’ when it comes to her unborn child as she shared a ‘full circle moment’ on Strictly Come Dancing which was quick to spark tears.
The professional dancer was seen back on the dance floor over the weekend as the popular programme relocated to Blackpool for one weekend only. As is tradition, week nine of the BBC One dance contest was broadcast life from the famous Tower Ballroom.
Dianne, whose time in the competition was cut short last month after celebrity partner Stefan Dennis had to withdraw due to injury, was among the stars to head up north and she was seen performing in all the group and musical numbers of the spectacular weekend.
The epic show was kicked off by 90s pop favourites, Steps, who performed a medley of their biggest hits alongside the show’s professional dancers, as well as the remaining contestants in the competition – Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, Lewis Cope, Alex Kingston and Karen Carney.
Reflecting up on her starring role in the performance, Dianne, who is pregnant with her first child, shared a snap of her backstage preparing with the caption: “Baby boys first Blackpool and he gets to dance with @officialsteps what a lucky lad he is already @bbcstrictly. Hair @charliewilkinsonhair. Makeup @enyasullivanmakeup.”

Dianne was seen front and centre during Strictly’s massive Steps number, before later taking to the floor for a special performance from four of the show’s brilliant former finalists, and performing alongside Lauren Oakley, Vito Coppola and Neil Jones to the show’s latest musical guest, none other than Lewis Capaldi.
Days on and Dianne, who announced in September that she and her boyfriend Joe Sugg, who she met on Strictly in 2018, were set to become parents in an adorable video, has returned to social media to reveal why meeting – and performing with – Steps, particularly band member Ian ‘H’ Watkins was a ‘full circle moment’.
Sharing a clip them together behind-the-scenes in the Tower Ballroom, the Australian star said: “It’s on my mind that little Joe loved H from Steps so much, and now I’m dancing to H from Steps with a little baby of Joe’s in my belly!” As H joined her in the video, he admitted: “I’m a massive fan of both of you!”
The video then changed to show Joe and his sister, Zoe, aka Zoella, looking back at an old video of themselves as kids doing their own Steps performance, with Joe taking on the role of H, and Zoe pretending to be Lisa Scott Lee.

Captioning the post, Dianne wrote: “What a full circle moment [face holding back tears emoji]. Little Joe and Zoe were such steps fans and now our little boy is already a steps backing dancer [laughing emojis] also I have a feeling this little boy will be a dead ringer of little Joe.”
Joe’s mum, Tracey Sugg, was quick to respond, as she commented on the post: “Oh my goodness I wish you had warned me !!! I’m in tears. Sooo cute and I remember it as if it was yesterday!!” while Dianne and Joe’s Strictly 2018 co-star Stacey Dooley replied: “NO STOP [crying emoji].”
Fans were also responding to the update. @fabiak19 said: “Oh how cute, crazy how the world works!! Your little boy will be born ready to perform the iconic steps dances given his mum and dad are both pros at them.” @throwback.sugg wrote: “That clip of little joe dancing is the cutest!! a little glimpse into your future and what you get to look forward to with your own son,”
