UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Fifth Round Results and Standings

Matches on the second match day of the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage for the 2025/26 season took place.
Greek Olympiakos, for which this time Ukrainian national team forward Roman Yaremchuk did not play, suffered a 3-4 defeat to Real Madrid; the Madrid club’s goalkeeper was Ukrainian Andriy Lunin.
The scorers at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus were: Shikinyu (8th minute), Mehdi Taremi (53), Ayub El-Kaabi – for Olympiakos; for Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe registered a poker (22, 24, 29, 60).

Note that after five rounds the maximum points – 15 – are held by Arsenal.
As a reminder, 36 clubs play eight matches – four home and four away – against different opponents. The 24 top teams will advance to the playoff rounds.

Dynamo Kyiv did not qualify for the Champions League group stage and are currently competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
