The fourth derby of the campaign will come after the split at Celtic Park, set to fall within the last five fixtures of the season.
So far, Celtic have taken one of the two meetings this year, which was the dramatic 3–1 extra-time win at Hampden earlier this month.
The other? Quite possibly the dullest 0-0 in living memory, a match so lifeless both Brendan Rodgers and Russell Martin should’ve been marched out full-time… yet somehow both limped on, one to be sacked later, the other to resign.
The March showdown could well be the first visit to Ibrox for Celtic’s new manager, with Columbus Crew boss Wilfried Nancy expected to take charge, assuming the deal is completed as anticipated.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that negotiations are advancing and nearing completion, while Sky Sports reports that a deal could be struck before the weekend, with a start date of Monday.
Before that, though, he’ll have more immediate challenges: a title-shaping clash with Hearts and a League Cup final against St Mirren. Plenty to negotiate before the first derby of the Nancy era arrives.
