Welcome to a nine-game night!
Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons are seeking their 14th straight win against the Boston Celtics on ESPN.
We’re opening with a Thanksgiving Eve triple-header on ESPN, featuring Pistons-Celtics, Timberwolves-Thunder and Rockets-Warriors as Emirates NBA Cup 2025 play continues.
Detroit’s going for their 14th straight win, which would break a tie with the championship-winning Piston squads of 1989-90 and 2003-04 for the longest winning streak in franchise history.
The Pistons defeated the Celtics 119-113 on Oct. 26, holding off a Boston comeback that cut a 13-point lead to four in the final minutes.
The Thunder are seeking to raise their record to 18-1 in a Western Conference Finals rematch against the Timberwolves.
Only five teams — the 2015-16 Warriors (19-0), 1993-94 Rockets (18-1), 1990-91 Blazers (18-1) and 1969-70 Knicks (18-1) — have achieved such a mark to start the season.
The matchup features a pair of superstar guards, reigning Kia NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Edwards.
Ant-Man is coming off a 43-point performance in Monday night’s 117-112 loss to the Kings, while SGA has dropped 20+ points in 90 consecutive games — the third-longest such streak in NBA history.
The Rockets and Warriors went through a seven-game battle in the first round of last year’s Western Conference playoffs, with Golden State coming out on top.
But the revamped Rockets have gotten better, especially Amen Thompson, who showed out with 28 points in Monday’s 114-92 win over the Suns.
Will they take one over the veteran Warriors? We’ll see tonight.
Here’s tonight’s complete schedule:
