Buyers camp out to secure blocks of land in Broome

A number of people have camped outside a real estate office in Western Australia’s north to purchase land, highlighting demand for residential housing in Broome. 

Development WA released seven blocks at Waranyjarri Estate in Broome North on a “first-come, first-served basis”. 

The Shire of Broome president has urged the state government to release more land to assist with housing shortages.
