Owen Wilson, BigXthaPlug among D-FW celebrities home for the holidays

The holiday season has ushered in the annual pilgrimage back home for Dallas-Fort Worth natives, many of whom toil year-round in other cities. Among the returning flock are North Texas’ beloved celebrities.
In your local grocer, while perusing for last-minute Thanksgiving sides, you may run into an old classmate or even Owen Wilson. The Dallas-born actor was spotted in a Central Market this week, wearing a cowboy hat and holding a grocery basket.
Or if you’re picking up some takeout, you could stumble upon Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug. He is hosting a turkey drive at Oak Cliff fixture Rudy’s Chicken on Wednesday afternoon, a joint he has visited in the past.
