Adelaide weather forecast for Friday November 28th and the days ahead

Adelaide can expect a series of cooler and showery days ahead, as detailed by the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest forecasts. The current weather pattern is shaped by a weak ridge of high pressure moving east, giving way to a low-pressure system that is bringing these conditions over South Australia.
Today, Adelaide will see showers in the late morning with the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The city’s maximum temperature is set to hover around 24 degrees, accompanied by moderate winds shifting from southwesterly directions towards the evening.
The temperature is predicted to drop slightly over the weekend. On Saturday, the temperatures will range from a minimum of 13 degrees to a maximum of 20 degrees, with a shower or two expected throughout the day, particularly at night when a medium likelihood of rainfall exists. Winds will maintain a steady southwesterly flow at speeds of 20 to 30 km/h.
As we move into Sunday, the minimum temperature will dip to 12 degrees, and the high will rise slightly to 21 degrees. The day will be marked by a high probability of showers as westerly winds pick up speed, ranging from 25 to 40 km/h.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday will also feature cooler conditions, with temperatures ranging from 12 degrees to 19 degrees and sporadic showers across the day.
Currently, there are active weather warnings in place pertinent to marine conditions, specifically for the Far West Coast. Strong wind warnings have been issued for today, necessitating vigilance among marine enthusiasts and operators in the region.
Across South Australia, a mix of showers and thunderstorms will extend across the state today, with some severe weather possible, especially in eastern regions. Over the weekend, showers will mostly affect agricultural and southern areas. Cumulative rainfall from now until the end of Monday is expected to be mostly moderate, except in isolated regions where heavier falls may occur due to thunderstorms.
Residents and visitors are advised to keep abreast of the latest weather updates and plan their activities accordingly, especially given the potential for abrupt weather changes and their impacts on outdoor activities.
