Adelaide shopping centre locked down after incident at Elizabeth City

An Adelaide shopping centre has been thrown into lockdown and a suspect is in custody after two people were seriously hurt in a brawl.

South Australian Police said two people had been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following reports of a fight inside Elizabeth City Centre in Adelaide’s north.

Emergency services rushed to the shop just after 2pm to reports of a “violent disturbance”.

A suspect is in custody, police said.

“There are reports of injuries. Investigations are continuing,” police said in a statement.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident or has any mobile phone footage is asked to approach police at the scene or provide their details via Crime Stoppers.”

Video from inside the centre showed blood spatters on the ground outside the shops.
