Salma Hayek is celebrating the start of festive season with a red-hot take on a holiday classic: the velvet dress. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, November 25, the Frida star published a video in partnership with Kahlua wearing a plunging cherry red gown and toting an espresso martini.
“Never settle for a meh-tini,” she wrote in her caption. “It has to be @Kahlua.”
The velvet gown featured a form-fitting silhouette, a halter neckline, and several voluminous appliqué roses covering the bust. As for her hair, Hayek went the Old Hollywood-inspired route with long, loose curls styled in her signature millennial side part.

On that occasion, she wore a similarly daring green gown designed by Gucci that was covered in thousands of tiny sequins. It featured an extremely low v-neck, long sleeves, and a slim fit through the waist and hips.
