Everything you need to know about Robbie Williams’ intimate show at Liverpool Olympia
- The legendary musician announced an intimate gig in Liverpool as part of a special run of shows to celebrate the release of his album ‘BRITPOP’. His album will be released on February 6 next year – the same date as his intimate show at Liverpool Olympia.
- The show at the venue, on West Derby Road, is part of the Long 90’s Tour, which will see Robbie take to the stage at a number of intimate gigs around the UK. The Liverpool Olympia show has been billed as a “once in a lifetime event” for fans.
- Fans who pre-ordered ‘BRITPOP’ from the Robbie Williams store were able to receive early access to tickets for the new live dates. You can take a look at everything available on Robbie’s website. Fans will have until 11.59pm tonight to pre-order the album and gain early access to the sale.
- The general sale will take place on November 28. Tickets have not yet been listed on Ticketmaster or Liverpool Olympia’s website but they are expected to appear before the sale begins.
- The Liverpool Olympia’s capacity is 1,200 for its main hall. The capacity for Robbie Williams’ show is expected to be in a similar region.
- Robbie will also play at the Barrowlands Ballroom, in Glasgow, on February 4. The singer moves on to the O2 Academy, Brixton, on February 8 and the Civic Hall, in Wolverhampton, on February 9.
- Artists who appear on the album include Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Gaz Coombes (Supergrass), Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi, Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy and Gary Barlow.
