Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Spark Debate Over Best Time to Eat Thanksgiving Dinner
Mark Consuelos has a bone to pick with Kelly Ripa over their Thanksgiving plans.
The Riverdale alum sparked a debate with his wife of 28 years about exactly what time dinner should be served this year, with Kelly—who prefers a later Thanksgiving meal—declaring, “6 p.m.”
“And if you don’t like that,” she quipped to her husband on the Nov. 26 episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, “you are welcome to make yourself a sandwich before because we are having dinner at 6.p.m.”
Unsatisfied with the answer, Mark, 54, surveyed the audience, who responded with loud applause when he asked if Thanksgiving dinner should traditionally be served “earlier than six o’clock.”
Her response? “Psychopaths,” Kelly, 55, said before explaining that when the family tried cutting the turkey earlier, she had to cook two meals because nobody wanted leftovers from lunch when dinnertime rolled around. “Now,” she continued, “we have dinner at dinner time.”
