‘It’s bullying’ – Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller has cleft lip mocked by Go Ahead Eagles star provoking almighty outrage

There were some ugly scenes in Stuttgart’s 4-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles as Victor Edvardsen disgraced himself.
The Swedish midfielder mocked Angelo Stiller’s birth defect of a cleft lip during the Europa League clash.
A scuffle ensued in the 73rd minute and both players received yellow cards.
Speaking post-match, Edvardsen was asked about the incident and said: “Normally that’s not okay, but the adrenaline overwhelmed me.
“I get very emotional when I play. I haven’t apologised yet. I don’t know if I will. If I meet him I can apologise.”
In response, Stiller said: “He needs to apologise.”
Go Ahead Eagles captain Mat Deijl voiced clear criticism of Edvardsen commenting: “I said that I think it would be wise if he apologised to this boy.”
Treble-winning Inter Milan legend Wesley Sneijder was furious, adding: “He needs to go to the locker room and apologise.
“This is bullying. We know many examples where this has gone wrong. It’s a bad thing.”
