Lewis Orford is back at West Ham after returning from his loan at Stevenage, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The England U20 midfielder has returned early with the lack of game an issue at the League One club.
“We can exclusively reveal that talented England youth international Lewis Orford has returned to the club,” stated the insider.
“The midfielder was on loan at high flying league 1 side Stevenage but wasn’t really featuring. It has been decided that it is within the player’s best interest to terminate the loan and return to Rush Green.
“Orford played well in the minutes he was given especially in the cup games and the 19 year old will be determined to show this form in the coming 21s fixtures.
“Orford is the second academy player to return prematurely from a loan spell with his England teammate goalkeeper Fin Herrick returning from a successful loan sell at Boreham Wood.”
