Bears inactives: Team to face Eagles without starting LBs

PHILADELPHIA — The Bears’ inactives list was academic Friday afternoon, 90 minutes before kickoff of their game against the Eagles.
Five players who were ruled out Thursday were on the list, including all three starting linebackers: T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring), Noah Sewell (elbow) and Ruben Hyppolite II (shoulder). The Bears had also ruled out cornerback Tyrique Stevenson with a hip problem and defensive end Dominique Robinson with a concussion.
The Bears also made third-string quarterback Case Keenum and receiver Jahdae Walker inactive.
The Bears figure to start D’Marco Jackson and Amen Ogbongbemiga at linebacker and play nickel defense most of the game. The two led the Bears in tackles last week.
Cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon were activated off injured reserve Thursday after recovering injuries to the groin and calf, respectively. They’ll both get considerable playing time, particularly with Stevenson out.
Both the Bears carry an 8-3 record into their Black Friday game.
The Bears bullied the defending Super Bowl champion into submission, adding their shade of blue to Black Friday.
