Preparations are currently underway in all corners of our sovereign Homeland for the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, which forms the basis of its peaceful and humane policy.
Turkmen neutrality plays a special role in ensuring peace not only in the region, but throughout the world, in further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and fraternal relations between peoples. Very soon, distinguished guests from all over the world will arrive in our country for the glorious celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, celebrated on December 12, because this holiday belongs to all the peoples of the world.
As the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted at the historic meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, held on September 19 this year: “Turkmenistan’s neutrality is the heritage not only of the Turkmen people, but also of all mankind.” The international holiday, which will be held in the capital of our sovereign Homeland, will be attended by guests from all over the world called by the great humane principle of the humanity of our ancestors, our permanent neutrality, as well as the noble initiatives of Hero Arkadag, now successfully implemented by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, aimed at the well-being of all mankind.
Our wise ancestors said: “A guest is wealth!” (“Gelen – döwlet!”) Therefore, a guest is coming to our country, and with the guest comes prosperity. Since ancient times, it has been a tradition of our people to greet guests with bread and salt, songs and dances. Following this principle, the culture and art workers of our country are also preparing to contribute to this glorious holiday by decorating it with their talent.
As in all corners of our neutral Homeland, preparations for the celebration are gaining momentum in the eastern region of the country. The main festive event dedicated to the glorious anniversary will be held in front of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” building located in the Velayat center. This concert will become a symbol of the fact that the doors of the Turkmen house are always open to guests. The concert program will include Turkmen folk and modern songs and dances, as well as famous songs and dances of fraternal peoples.
Here is what Bagtyyar Reyimov, head of the Lebap Velayat Department of Culture, said about the preparations for the holiday:
– The preparation of the masters of arts of our velayat for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Motherland has been carried out since the beginning of the International Year of Peace and Trust. Because the deeply humane content of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and its significance for the peoples of the world are much broader than the holiday. The solemn concert, which will take place during the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality, will be attended by famous masters of the arts of Lebap velayat. Artists of the Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theater will present a literary and musical composition dedicated to the significant date. Along with Turkmen folk and modern songs, songs of Russian, Uzbek, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Tajik, Italian, Arabic, Tatar, and Belarusian peoples will be performed. The orchestra and students of the Lebap Special School of Arts, children’s creative groups will also perform at the celebration. During the holidays, similar concerts will be held in all etraps and cities of the Lebap velayat.
In addition, the creative team of the Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theater will present famous dramatic works of fraternal peoples to the audience as part of the week “Permanent Neutrality – the foundation of Friendship and brotherhood.” The staff of the Velayat Museum of Local Lore and the Velayat Library will organize exhibitions revealing the deep significance of this holiday.
