Maximize your fun during Dynamax Lugia Max Battle Weekend with free Timed Research. This research kicks off November 25 at 6:00 a.m. local time and must be concluded with rewards claimed by November 30 at 9:00 p.m. local time. Trainers who complete the research will earn an encounter with Dynamax Gastly as well as Gastly Candy, Max Particles, and more.
As a Psychic- and Flying-type Pokémon, Lugia is vulnerable to Electric-, Ice-, Rock-, Ghost-, and Dark-type attacks, which offers plenty of solid counters to this powerful Legendary Pokémon. During Max Battles, Trainers must use Dynamax Pokémon and Gigantamax Pokémon, so it’s important to pay attention to the type of your Pokémon’s G-Max Move attack or Max Move attack. A Dynamax Pokémon’s Max Move type matches its Fast Attack’s, so make sure your Dynamax Pokémon have an Electric-, Ice-, Rock-, Ghost-, or Dark-type Fast Attack. Gigantamax Pokémon have a fixed G-Max Move, so be sure to factor that into your decision about which Gigantamax Pokémon to bring into your Dynamax Lugia battle.
