Bowl projections for Aggies, Longhorns

Ryan R: This Friday will indeed be a black one for the Aggies, but not in hyped up uber-capitalism but rather a black eye and a long bus ride back to College Station. Coming into Austin unbeaten, with the SEC championship on the line, has all the makings for a massive letdown by the Aggies.
Texas knows their chance of making the CFP this year is largely nil and whatever bowl game they get will be a sad substitution. So, they’re going to be playing their hearts out this Friday while the A&M will be more worried about CFP seeding. It’ll no doubt be a close and unpredictable game (it is a heated rivalry after all), but I say Texas gets the win that salvages Arch’s first season and propels them to actually deserving that #1 preseason ranking in 2026.
Texas 38 – 31 A&M
