Several lottery players win big in recent Lotto Max draw | National

Lottery players across Canada have their eyes on the massive Lotto Max jackpot that’s currently up for grabs.
The Lotto Max draw took place on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and the winning numbers were 12, 15, 16, 19, 21, 40, and 48, with bonus 04, but no one won the $55-million top prize.
However, in Ontario, one lottery player came quite close after they matched six of the seven numbers and the bonus number, netting themselves the second prize. According to PlayNow, the winner will take home a prize worth $197,726.20.
Several Canadians split the third prize after they all matched six of the seven numbers. A total of 52 winners will split the prize, with each one receiving their share worth $197,726.20.

There were also four Maxmillions prizes to be won during Tuesday’s draw. Three people managed to match a single $1-million Maxmillions prize by matching the numbers 5, 9, 10, 11, 17, 20, and 48. According to WCLC, one ticket was sold in Whitehorse, Yukon, and two in Ontario.
In B.C., no one won the Lotto Max prize worth $500,000, and similarly in Ontario, no one won the $1 million Encore top prize.
It’s been nearly a month since someone won the jackpot. On Oct. 28, a lottery player won the $40-million prize, and according to OLG, the ticket was sold in Grey County, Ont.
Whoever wins the jackpot in the next draw will certainly be set for life — the top prize is now worth $60 million. If you’re hoping to try your luck, the draw takes place on Friday, Nov. 28.
