Fortnite Battle Royale’s next Season launches November 29, and competitive play is opening strong with the Road to Unreal — a full series of Ranked Cups leading into the $1,000,000 Duos Unreal Cup on December 20.
Anyone who reaches Unreal in Battle Royale by December 20 automatically qualifies for this major event and will battle for their share of over $1,000,000 USD.

Ranked Updates for Next Season
Epic is adjusting progression across several modes next Season:
Battle Royale & Zero Build
- Top 30% now earn increased rank progress
- Top 5% receive a significant bonus
- Bottom 40% lose slightly more rank than before
Reload & Reload Zero Build
- More progress required to climb from Bronze – Unreal
- Slightly reduced progress loss on elimination

Beginning in December, multiple sessions of Solo touch-only Mobile Series events will run each month.
Top performers qualify for single-lobby cash Final sessions per region.
FNCS 2026
The next FNCS year begins with the FNCS Trial on January 31.
- Duos are placed into Divisions based on Trial performance
- Division 1 duos progress to FNCS Majors
- Majors lead into a qualification path for FNCS 2026 Global Championship LAN
