First Alert Weather Day: Low temps and snow showers possible

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Saturday is a First Alert Weather Day as temperatures drop and the Tri-State faces a chance of snow showers, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team.

Showers will be possible early Saturday afternoon with some accumulation.

Going into Saturday evening, the snow will turn to a wintry mix.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Fayette, Union, and Franklin counties in Indiana, and Butler and Warren counties in Ohio from 7 a.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday.

A light dusting to 2″ of snow is possible by Sunday morning and roads will be slick for travel.

Sunday, the precipitation will change over to rain in the morning.
