After nearly four years, you can get your hands on the Arcane Fortnite skins again very soon

Everyone knows Ma Meilleure Ennemie, the song that went viral from Arcane’s soundtrack, but does everyone know about ma meilleure skins? I love to play as Vi and Jinx, but the Arcane Fortnite skins have been away from the shop for some time, despite Arcane season two’s resounding success. Fortnite fans who were missing the skins even started a movement on social media, #BringArcaneBackToTheItemShop. Fortnite is exactly the kind of game to give the players what they want, and so, happily, Jinx and Vi are coming back to Fortnite’s shop after nearly four years.
The previous Fortnite Arcane skin runs in the shop cost 1.5k V-bucks apiece, or 1.8k V-bucks for each bundle, but the price has increased, presumably to adjust for inflation since 2022 – now the Vi and Jinx bundles each cost 2.4k V-bucks. In Vi’s bundle, you’ll get her skin, emote, back bling, loading screen, and pickaxe. If you pick up Jinx, you’ll be getting her skin, spray, back bling, two loading screens, an instrumental track, and her pickaxe.
After the second season of the League of Legends animated show passed with no word of the skins getting re-runs, Fortnite players online began campaigning passionately to see Arcane back in the store. Excitement peaked when the brains behind Arcane and League of Legends, Riot Games’ co-founder Marc Merrilla, retweeted a campaign post in January. We were prepped and ready for another return, but with no signs of life for months, we began to give up hope.
Until, that is, the company dropped a short teaser trailer, announcing that the skins would be back on November 29th at 7pm ET. So go, and go swiftly, to purchase the Fortnite skins of my two favorite badasses from video game-adjacent media. They’ll only be available until December 6, and we can’t be sure when or if the skins will ever return. The delay in the skin re-runs suggest Epic and Riot may have struggled to make an agreement this time around, so assume this is a one-time only re-run.
That’s not all, though – Vi and Jinx are also available as LEGO Fortnite skins, as confirmed on the LEGO Fortnite social media pages. Their LEGO variations are very cute and presumably very limited edition, so pick those up if it sounds like your kind of thing. Despite the cuteness, some fans online yearn for even more, like a Caitlyn or Mel skin, but we can’t imagine there are plans for that at this stage, given that Arcane wrapped up at the end of 2024.
However, alongside the skins, Imagine Dragons’ Enemy, Arcane’s punchy theme song, will debut in the game as a jam track in Fortnite festival, so we may be proven wrong yet.
