10 Scotland players return for Glasgow Warriors’ trip to Scarlets

Max Williamson and Alex Samuel will bring some punch off a bench which also featured back-row Ally Miller making his first appearance since the start of March having recovered from a back issue.
Zander Fagerson, Scott Cummings Rory Darge, Matt Fagerson Jack Dempsey, Jamie Dobie, Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu and club captain Kyle Steyn are among the key international players given this week off. Murphy Walker is listed as having a shoulder injury.
“We are excited to return to BKT URC action this weekend as we kick off an important block of fixtures over the next 10 weeks,” said Warriors head coach Franco Smith.
“The whole squad has worked hard over the last couple of weeks to put ourselves in the best possible position, as we know that the way we apply ourselves will be extremely important.
“We know the Scarlets [who are winless and at the bottom of the table with five players in the Wales squad taking on the Springboks this weekend] will provide a tough test in front of a passionate home crowd, and we know that we must be at our best to overcome a challenging opponent.”
