Creative Contention Backstage Over Men’s WarGames Entrance Order at WWE Survivor Series

The Men’s WarGames match is already stacked with star power—CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and more. But now, it’s not just the in-ring chaos fans are talking about. According to a new update from WrestleVotes, there’s creative tension backstage over a critical detail: who enters the match, and when.
With egos, top billing, and storyline momentum all in play, sources say the creative team is facing pushback over how the entrance order should go down.
“Sources indicate there is some creative contention over the entrance order for tonight’s men’s WarGames match. With the amount of star power in play, several scenarios were mapped out, and there are differing opinions.”
That’s no small problem when the match includes A-listers like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso on one side—and Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and “The Vision” on the other. With so many massive names in one cage, deciding who gets the major attention first—or last—is more than just a production detail. It’s about who the company sees as the real main eventers.
This revelation comes on the heels of reporting from Ibou of Self Made Pro, who said the post-WarGames week is when WWE will finally pull the trigger on revealing the WrestleMania 42 main event. Internal plans reportedly involve major storyline pivots coming out of the November 29 Premium Live Event.
“I had been told by someone close to the situation about two weeks ago that the plan was to make the WrestleMania main event clear coming out of WarGames and on the week of television following Survivor Series.”
With that much at stake, it’s no wonder the creative team is clashing behind the scenes. The order of entry could foreshadow major WrestleMania moves—and some top stars may not be willing to play second fiddle.
What do you think is really going on with WWE’s backstage booking for WarGames?
