The Jets woke up this morning and found themselves on the outside looking in to a playoff spot after last night’s NHL games with both the Mammoth and Oilers winning their games. Another one of the teams ahead of them is today’s opponent. The Wild sit two points up on Winnipeg after going on an 8-1-1 run in their last ten games.
Both Winnipeg and Minnesota have excellent power plays (5th and 6th respectively) while the penalty kills are at opposite ends of the spectrum with the home team sitting 7th overall and the visitors at 28th.
While no changes are expected for Winnipeg it’s worth noting that Mark Scheifele did take a maintenance day on Saturday.
