LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The list of local teams still in the hunt to reach Championship Saturday is getting smaller and smaller.
This week, ABC13 Football Friday will be covering VHSL Regional Finals.
Here’s who is still in the hunt.
In Class 4, G.W. Danville got the win Friday.
They will face Jefferson Forest who beat John Handley on Saturday.
In Class 3, we get a rematch of Heritage and LCA with both teams moving on.
That game will be at City Stadium.
Also in Class 3, Magna Vista moves on as does Lord Botetourt.
They’ll face each other next week.
In Class 2, Glenvar moving on; they will face Gretna In a rematch of last years playoffs.
Finally, in Class 1, Region C.
George Wythe with the takedown of the number one seeded Giles Spartans.
They will now travel to Grayson County who upset Craig County.
