“Hit him with a mini-sota” – NBA Fans React as Jaylen Brown Trolls Anthony Edwards with ‘Too small’ Gesture as Celtics Star Drops 19 pts in 1st Qtr

This season, Jaylen Brown has taken his scoring production to a different level as he shoulders bigger responsibilities in the absence of his running mate Jayson Tatum. On Saturday, Brown made sure that his competition knew exactly how good he is.

In the first quarter of the Boston Celtics’ weekend showdown against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Brown was in an iso situation against Anthony Edwards, another gifted scorer. Pulling out his bag of tricks, the former Finals MVP shook free of Edwards’ defense and nailed a fadeaway jumper. Getting this bucket to go, Brown then hit Ant-Man with a “too small” taunt.

Thanks for the submission!

Brown’s gesture drew a number of reactions from fans online, with some fans getting creative with their responses.

“Hit him with a mini-sota,” one fan tweeted in reference to Edwards’ NBA team.

The Celtics star is averaging 28.2 points per game on 49.5% shooting from the field, as well as 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per outing. Meanwhile, the one-time Olympic gold medalist is putting up 28.0 ppg on 47.5% FG shooting, 4.8 rpg, and 3.6 apg.

Jaylen Brown reveals how conversation with Hall of Famer convinced him to stay with Celtics

Earlier this month, Brown made an interesting revelation on one of his livestreams. According to Brown, he’d been contemplating a move overseas in recent years before Basketball Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady convinced him to stay with the Celtics.

“Nah, bro, trust me. Whatever you can do, if you could stay, you’ve got the opportunity to win, win,” Brown quoted McGrady as saying.
